members - anyone can purchase items....so, spread the word**
While Desert Roots Farm produces only vegetables, fruits and herbs,
many of our customers over the years have expressed an interest in
purchasing high quality, locally produced meats and dairy products.
There are a number of wonderful, small farms and ranches in Arizona
that produce high quality meat and dairy products. However, many of
them are outside the Phoenix-metro area often making it difficult
to access and enjoy their products.
How Does It Work?
The farms and ranches that participate in our co-op are listed below, along
with the products their have for sale. Anyone wishing to purchase products
may do so via our web-site. Once a month, the various farms and ranches will
deliver the products ordered to a central location (Udder Delights in Gilbert, AZ).
Those who have purchased products will then go to the pick-up location on
the "pick-up" day and gather their goodies.
If you purchase items via the co-op you must commit to picking them up at
the pick-up location during the designated pick-up time -
NO EXCEPTIONS!

9 +/- lbs of hamburger in 1 pound packages
1 pkg of bbq ribs
1 package ribeye, t-bone, chuck eye steak, 'flat iron steak',
sirloin, NY strip and other steaks (2 steaks per pkg)
1 or 2 roasts (I suggest for pot roast or shredded beef)
3 round steaks, cut ½” for carne asada or stir-fry

Pick-up day = One Saturday each month (check web-site for upcoming dates)
Pick-up time = 1pm - 2pm (strictly enforced)
We suggest you bring a cooler and ice blocks with you to the pick-up
so that your meat and dairy stays nice and cool during the ride home.
